Speed Launcher First Run does few things that makes life of user easier, other than showing just EULA page :-)

1. Speed Launcher picks contacts from your favorite contacts and adds it to Speed Launcher screen.
   
   
2. It adds commonly used android apps icon to apps screen.
   
   
3. Reads list of missed calls and new messages and shows an overlay red icon on contact/call-log screen
   
   
4. Reads status if WiFi/Bluetooth/etc and shows its status in green/grey.
